Walgreens - 8/24/08 Deal Week

Walgreens isn't showing me any super duper deals this week but there are a few good things I can work with.
So, here are a few deals for the week of August 24th, 2008.

• Peter Pan peanut butter and Smuckers Jelly are on sale 3 for $5. I have 3 $1 off Peter Pan coupons from Walmart's All You magazine making my peanut butter cost about $.66 a jar! There are a few Smuckers Jelly coupons out there, too from a recent Sunday insert and from the All You magazine (if I remember right). They are $.35 off one and $.55 off two. Not as good as the peanut butter deal but okay if you are out of jelly.
• Rimmel cosmetics are buy one get one free. I have 2 $1 off 1 mascara coupons and 2 $1 off any coupons from this past Sunday's paper. I think their cheapest Rimmel mascara is $3.29 making 2 mascaras cost $.65 each. There are a few other items for $3.29 as well. Each item should cost me around $.65 if I use my 4 coupons.
• Mitchum deodorant is $2.99 with a $1 register reward. Use the $.75 coupon from Sunday's paper to make this $1.24.
• Trident Xtra Care gum is $.99 with instant coupon from the Walgreens circular. Use $.75 off coupons from Walmarts All You magazine to make these $.24 each. I saw these at Walmart yesterday for $.93 so if you use your coupons there instead of Walgreens you could get them for a little cheaper.
• Puffs Tissues are $.89. Use the $.25 off coupon from a recent Sunday paper to get these for $.64.

The deals are spectacular this week but next weeks look to be much more promising. Let me know if you have come up with anything to add to the deals above. The new Easy Saver booklet takes effect at the end of this week and there are 9 free after rebate items on the list!
