This Week's Freebies & Cheapies (week of 9/7/2008)

Freebies this week - some carried over from last week, some new for this week.

• Kotex are $1 a pack at Walmart. There have been numerous $1 off 1 coupons on these here, in last months All You magazine, and this months All You magazine making these free.
• Preparation H wipes travel pack are $.97 at Walmart. Use the $1 off any Preparation H product coupon here to get these for free plus a little overage. This is an unlimited printable so make sure you get plenty.
• Vlasic relish is $1 at Walmart. Use the $1 off 1 printable coupons if you got them (not available anymore) to get these for free.
• Johnson's Buddies are $1 at Walmart. Use the $1 off 1 coupon here to get this for free.
• If your Publix still has the Green Giant Steamers on sale for $.87 like mine does you can use these $1 off 1 coupons or these $1 off 1 coupons to get these for free plus overage.
• CVS has Chex Mix on sale for $1 a bag. This includes the yummy chocolate turtle flavor. Go here to print out your $1 off 1 coupon and get these for free! There are also printables for $.60 off 1 here and $1 off 2 here and there is a Sunday insert coupon for $.50 off 1.

Here are some excellent deals that end up free after rewards. Good stocking up deals.

• Target has this Kashi deal going on right now where you buy 4 Kashi products get a $5 Target gift card. Here is the way to make this free.
  Buy 2 Kashi Cereals at $2.75 and 2 Kashi Frozen Waffles at $1.69 each. Use the Kashi coupons found here to get the cereal and waffles for only $2.88 plus tax! Your $5 gift card will make these more than free! You can do this deal over and over again using your gift card - perfect time to stock up!
• Walgreens has Robitussin on sale for $3.99 each. If you buy 3 of these you get a $10 Register Reward (like cash to be used on another purchase at Walgreens). Use the $3 off 1 Robitussin coupon found here to get all 3 bottles for $2.97. After your RR these will be a $7 money maker! There have been issues with this deal so let me explain it.
  This will only work on certain types. I purchased the DM and the Night Time Cough & Cold and it worked fine. I have been told the CF and Pediatric will work, too, but I have not verified this.
  As a side note - some Walgreens have a spelling error in their register on this product causing the $10 RR not to print out. If yours doesn't print out ask to speak to the manager. If he tells you it is because you used coupons or he says he can't do anything about it I suggest you return the Robitussin right there on the spot and get your money back (politely). Or, take the 3 bottles of Robitussin for the $.99 each because that is a terrific deal on flu season stock-ups all by itself.

And some great Cheapie Deals

• Publix has Crunch Bars on sale buy 1 get 1 free at $3.09. There are $1 off 1 printables here to make these just $.55 a bag!
• Glade Fabric and Air is $2.99 at Walgreens. Use the $1 off 1 Walgreens Easy Saver coupon and a $1 off 1 coupon from last month's All You magazine to get these for $.99 each.
• HP printer paper was $4.99 at my Walmart. I used the $3 off coupon found here and got a 500 sheet ream for just $1.99. Not super great but definitely nothing to frown at when you are down to about 10 sheets of printer paper. Plus, I read that many Walmarts have this paper on sale for $4 a ream making this deal a true cheapie.

This is a great stock pile week! Get your coupons together and go shopping!
