CVS Deals - 10/12/08

CVS just published their newest beauty book magazine. It is called Reinventing Beauty and has a picture of America Ferrara on the cover. You will want to pick up one or two of these. If you can't find them sitting out at your CVS make sure to ask for one. We did and not only did they go in the back and open up the box for us they gave us some extra coupon inserts!

This week, the October 12, 2008 deal week, there are some good deals made great by the Reinventing Beauty magazine.
This week is also a very good week to roll Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) if you have some expiring soon.

• Colgate Maxfresh toothpaste is $2.99 with a $2 ECB. Use the $1 off 1 coupon in the beauty book to get these for free. If you have the CVS register printed $1 off 1 coupon you can get these for free with a $1 overage after coupons and ECBs!
• Gatorade, Propel, and Sobe Life Water are on sale 5 for $5 with a $3 ECB when you buy 5. Use 2 of the $1 off 2 coupons from the beauty book to get 5 of these for free after coupon and ECBs.
• Covergirl makeup - buy $10 get $3 back in ECBs. There are usually coupons for CoverGirl in the monthly P&G inserts. I have a buy 1 get 1 free and a couple $1 off any CoverGirl coupons. Take a look at what you have and see if you can put a deal together that will get you really cheap makeup!
• Some Kelloggs Cereals are 2 for $4 (small 9oz box). Use the $1 off 1 any Kelloggs coupons from here and here to get these for just $1 a box.
• Select Swiffer products are buy $10 get $5 ECB. Pick up a Sweeper kit at $7.99 and a Duster kit at $6.99 and use the buy 1 sweeper get 1 duster free coupon from a recent Sunday paper (P&G insert, I think). Then use a $1 off 1 coupon from the P&G home mailer to get these both of these for $1.99 after coupons and ECBs. You can sign up for the P&G home mailer here if you haven't yet. You won't receive the coupons in time for this deal but you will get them within a couple weeks. It is a terrific booklet of coupons and definitely worth your time to sign up.

• CVS Bar Soap 8-packs net you a $1 ECB. It has been verified that the $1 ECB is printing off for the $.99 single bars as well. You can do this 5 times and get 5 bars of soap for free after ECBs!
